15 minutes’ walk from Cork city centre , Adjacent property to Marina Market. Opposite National Kart Centre in the Marina Commercial Park on Centre Park Road.
Please note:
There are 3 entrances to this commercial park. Two of the three gates with access to this commercial park close at 6pm Mon-Friday, and remain closed on Saturdays & Sundays. The third gate will always be open for entry for cars and pedestrians with a security guard present. The third gate is towards the Marina Park walkway, heading away from the city.

Please visit Book Tour section to book online. Walk-ins welcome, however please note that we also host private experiences, and so calling ahead is advised to avoid disappointment.
This is a fully functioning distillery nested in Old Ford electrical transformer building . The buidling was built in 1920’s and have laid dormant since 1984 -2020 . The building can be cold during winters as the building was built to not to retain heat . Advice to wear warm clothing .

An incredible intimate distillery experiences
I recently celebrated my birthday at the Rebel City Distillery with a Cocktail Masterclass hosted by Bhagya and I had the best experience! You can book the distillery for a private party which is so intimate and the venue is incredible. The distillery is the perfect backdrop for amazing pictures as well as being steeped in heritage and the culture of Cork- the Rebel county! Bhagya was a pleasure to deal with from the booking process all the way through to the experience itself, she went above and beyond to ensure my group had the best experience. The tour itself is really interesting, the cocktail making is a fun and unique experience which all my friends enjoyed and the Maharani gin itself is divine! I honestly cannot recommend this distillery highly enough, you won’t be disappointed. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Inquisitive Expedition
On our city break travels, we enjoy visiting breweries and distilleries. Therefore, our first trip to Cork resulted in us visiting Rebel City. We were met by Robert and we chewed the fat about his time in Edinburgh, a city close to my heart. We were then introduced to Bhagya,his lovely wife, who led us through the tour. Her passion and knowledge of her business and distilling were clear to see. Their story is very personal, and I have to say endearing to those who visit. A tour of the production process followed by more samples of their produce, including the marvellous Maharanhi (High Queen I was reliably informed) gin. A taste of Absinthe, strong but flavoursome, and then the flavoured Vodka, all absolutely excellent. For what it's worth, the Gin was my winner. This was an outstanding experience and one we would do again on our next return to Cork. We couldn't buy a bottle at the time as we were flying home, but we managed to secure a bottle of Maharanhi in the airport. It will be consumed shortly. Thanks again.

Amazing experience!!

We were passing and dropped in. Despite being unexpected, we were made welcome and given a tour of the distillery with an explanation of their ethos. We were impressed by the enthusiasm and feminist culture

What a memorable day at Rebel City Distillery!
Our team had a great experience touring the distillery, hosted by the owners(and FDT former colleague), Robert Barrett and his talented wife Bhagya Barrett ,MBA, B.Eng. We had the opportunity to taste their exquisite gin, absinth, and vodka, each with its unique flavour profile. Robert gave us an insider’s look into the meticulous process of crafting their products, while Bhagya shared the rich history of the brand and the inspiring journey behind the distillery. It was both fun and culturally enlightening for all of us. A huge thank you to Robert and Bhagya for the warm welcome and for sharing your passion with us. Truly a power couple producing fantastic products! Well done, and thanks for having us!

If you only do one thing in Cork…
This tour was truly one of the highlights of our vacation in Ireland and definitely the best part of our time in Cork. Bhagya is so warm and welcoming. She made learning so fun and gave us tons of recommendations for our time in Ireland. The spirits they sell are top notch. Gin typically isn’t our favorite, but we’re converts… at least for the gin they make. Highly recommend!!

Fun and cocktails!
It's a wonderfull visit to this new distillery. The tour is very informative and the cocktails you make yourself are delicious. But the best part of this experience is the host. She is such a fun and enthousiastic person! I would surely visit again

Best hen party experience!
We went here for my best friend's hen do. We had such a great time! Bhagya made it an unforgettable experience. The personal touches were so lovely. Highly recommend! 😊

This is not just a distillery, this is joy. I could not believe it but there’s some kind of magic there that put an end to all the negative emotions. I loved this place because it’s unique in its genre, it’s an experience, and there’s a lot of things that you can do there around all the spirits. And most importantly everyone is accepted, no judgment just fun, positivity, education and a little bit of alcohol 😉

We were at Rebel city distillery as part of team building activities. We had a fantastic afternoon, cool place with some great art works by local artists brilliant tour of distillery and fantastic cocktail making session. Bhagya is an incredible host, bubbling with energy. Would definitely recommend the place if you are in Cork.

This was such an amazing experience and much more so than I thought it would be and that's because of Bhagya and how clearly passionate she is about what she and her husband Robert have put into the place.
I'd advise anyone to visit guys it's very worth the price and especially the time.

Tolles Erlebnis, nicht nur für Gin-Liebhaber. Interessante Einweisung in Stadt, Geschichte und Destille und ebensolche Besichtigung. Super nette Gastgeberin. Die Produkte sind ausgezeichnet, man darf probieren und kann kaufen, was wir gerne getan haben. Ein "must see" in Cork!

We had a wonderful time touring this local Cork distillery. Bhagya and her team were so warm and kind. It was our first time visiting a distillery so we weren’t sure what to expect. However we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and homely the space was. The drinks were delicious and it was so interesting learning about the history of the different spirits produced at Rebel City and the inspiration behind their Indian/Irish fusion gin. 10/10 would definitely visit again!
